Brandy was very nice and knew the menu very well even gave me options and her favorite “the fruit roll up” I got the fruit roll up mixed with fams fav! I give 4 starts just because it was a 35 minute drive and their inside was closed for maintenance so I will have to check out some other time but will be sending more people their way to check out the inside when it’s open!! :)

A group of friends and I were looking for a place to meet up. One of them mentioned D&B daiquiri spot. I had never heard of it before, but I’m glad I did. At the time, I didn’t know they served food, so I ate before I got there. It’s a little small inside but the atmosphere is still great. They had music playing, which gave the whole place a vibe. I had the fam favorite and that’s all my life needed. I’m a fan!!!. I’ve since been back several times but haven’t tried anything else because that drink does it for me.

Walked in the restaurant and greeted us before we got to the bar. They were friendly. The food was fire I got fried pork chops, greens. Mashed potato and Mac n cuz. My husband got fried catfish cabbage stuffing and Mac and cuz. Yall everybody stuffing not good but baby that stuffing was fire

Saw this restaurant on tick tock! And it did not disappoint!! The owner was so sweet and nice...i give this place a 10 out of 10 as soon as we walk through the door it felt like family! Everything was explained and the prices are very fair! food was delicious,!!! Most definitely will be back!

I ordered from here on yesterday from Doordash after a long search for baked turkey wings and dressing that was near me. I really didn't think it was a place with those specific items BUT D&W Daiquiri Spot met that challenge. They didn't have the baked turkey wings but definitely had the dressing. So, I ordered a pork chop and a neckbone dinner that came with three sides. I had two side orders of dressing which was sweet tasting to me but it made the cut (I LOVE dressing unless its wet) and collard greens which was ok but made the cut the cut as well. I mean at least they werent vinegry, ewe, they were good. I was impressed because I've lived here for four years and this was the first time I ate soul food that was good and made the cut by my standard of soul food eatting. Today, my cousin was in town and wanted soul food so I took him there. We'll, let's just say they did not disappoint. He had the neckbone dinner with his three sides of mac n cheese, greens, and dressing. He said his food was good.. It made the cut and now he have a spot to come to when he visit. I had the pig feet dinner. Now, I was hesitant because everyone can not make them properly. IT WAS FIRE ! My sides were dressing, of course and string beans. VERY GOOD! Overall, AGAIN, the pig feet was FIRE . My doordash pork chop was FIRE . Everything was really good. I will return when I'm ready for soul food and feeling lazy! The customer service was AMAZING, one of the BEST I've experienced since living here from the moment we walked in, sat down then left! Lastly, the bathroom was clean and decorated really nice which is very important! We order three dinners, cakes, and drinks which csme up to 98 my tip. Not bad for all we ordered.

My big back self ordered two meals! I got the neckbone meal and the pork chop meal! Them neckbones was bomb af!!! Everything was delicious but them neckbones was my fav! You get 3 sides with each meal and the meals are only 17. The staff was so kind! They all came out to speak! I’ll be back!

Had lunch here with my mom today and this is the best soul food I have had in the city. We are both from Alabama and loved it. The two ladies working today were so friendly and welcoming. I had the fried turkey, dressing, green beans and friend cabbage with cornbread. My mom had the fried pork chop, dressing, pinto beans, mac & cheese and cornbread. It was all soooo good!

An amazing spot with great hospitality! The food was delicious and we napped great afterwards from the daiquiris (and the “itis”). The two ladies working that day continue to check on us and even wanted a picture of our group as she saw us enjoying ourselves! They’re sweet and we really enjoyed our time. I can’t wait for them to get a bigger spot (just a bit of manifesting) Everyone got different things and loved it. We even ordered some to go. The drinks were amazing and even the lemonade bowl was fun to enjoy and delicious. The catfish is tender and not too fishy. The black eyed peas are perfectly seasoned. The Mac n cheese is dense and cheesy. The German chocolate cake??? GET IT.
